\r\n Ironshore understands that COVID-19 is especially\r\n challenging for families living with ADHD. In addition to the usual\r\n challenges of ADHD, we are now faced with how to manage social\r\n distancing, remote working, distance learning, and health concerns.\r\n It is not surprising that this may feel overwhelming.\r\n
\r\n
\r\n Now more than ever, it is important to take care of yourself and\r\n your loved ones. As best you can, try to maintain regular routines,\r\n including taking your medicines as prescribed. Here is some\r\n information that may be useful for families with ADHD during these\r\n challenging times:\r\n
\r\n
\r\n - \r\n Pharmacy Locator - If you are having trouble finding a\r\n pharmacy near you that carries JORNAY PM, call our Pharmacy\r\n Locator service at\r\n 1-877-938-4766 (Monday-Friday\r\n 8am-9pm ET). Many pharmacies are now offering free delivery.\r\n
\r\n - \r\n Simplifying Prescriptions - Your doctor can provide you\r\n with three 30-day prescriptions during one visit, as long as each\r\n prescription is dated 30 days apart (for example, August 15,\r\n September 15, October 15). During this public health emergency,\r\n doctors can alternatively provide you with\r\n one 90-day supply of JORNAY PM,\r\n if allowed by State law. Check with your doctor about what\r\n options are available to minimize your trips out of the house to\r\n get your prescriptions filled.\r\n
\r\n - \r\n Stay connected with your doctor - Many healthcare providers\r\n are continuing to see patients via telemedicine rather than\r\n in-person. While it is important to keep your regular\r\n appointments, check with your doctor to see what their policy is\r\n before you go. If you need help to better manage your ADHD during\r\n this time, it’s important to talk to your doctor.\r\n
\r\n - \r\n Reach out to others. You may be surprised how helpful it is\r\n to speak to other people, share how you are coping, and get help\r\n if you need it. There are many ADHD support groups, blogs, and\r\n social media groups online – find one that fits.\r\n
\r\n - \r\n Resources - Here are some helpful resources with\r\n information about how to manage ADHD during the global pandemic\r\n \r\n
